Every inpatient will have a DPJP (Doctor in Charge of Service); is a doctor who is responsible for the service and management of a patient’s medical care, in accordance with RI Law number 39 of 2009 concerning Health and RI Law number 44 concerning Hospitals. Medical services are the core of performance based on evidence-based medicine. In this process, the DPJP performs services according to their expertise, if it is a case of internal medicine, the DPJP who is competent for cases of internal medicine is a specialist in internal medicine as well as other specialists.
One patient has a different number of specialist doctors and the same number of doctors on duty at the ward. Specialist doctors have an obligation to visit patients at least once a day. .
